Yad Sarah Reaches Out to Help Muquadam
Meet Muquadam, a two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Tanzania. He came to Israel under the auspices of Save a Child’s Heart (SACH), an NGO that arranges vital operations for children from developing countries in need of cardiac surgery. Lee Friedman, a donor and friend of Yad Sarah, traveled to Israel from the States to see for herself the two vehicles she donated. One (pictured) is a unique van that safely transports the wheelchair-bound.

Lee Friedman, a good friend of Yad Sarah, came to see for herself the two vehicles she donated. One of them is a YadSaraVan (nechonit in Hebrew), a specially-fitted van which safely transports the wheelchair-bound. Thank-you to the Friends of Yad Sarah in the United States, and especially to the director of our New York office, Adele Goldberg, whose dedication and talents are responsible for the substantial support Yad Sarah enjoys in Jewish communities across the country. Our gratitude also goes to Rachel Dover of the public relations and resource development department in Jerusalem, who works hand in hand with the office in New York. Naftali Michaeli, director of Yad Sarah's finance department, toured Yad Sarah House with the guest and thanked her for her generous donation, in the name of the entire Yad Sarah family. Her contribution greatly helps those for whom the transportation provided by Yad Sarah is a vital connection to life.
