Yad Sarah Reaches Out to Help Muquadam
Meet Muquadam, a two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Tanzania. He came to Israel under the auspices of Save a Child’s Heart (SACH), an NGO that arranges vital operations for children from developing countries in need of cardiac surgery. At Yad Sarah's many branches and departments, the spirit of the Festival of Lights can be felt in the smiles and the enthusiasm everyone is bringing to their work

At the Day Rehabilitation Center at Yad Sarah House in Jerusalem, beautiful menorahs are already in the works, the efforts of the very creative volunteers and staff and their very enthusiastic students. Their work is proudly displayed by volunteer Tika Seton at the gift store located at the main entrance of Yad Sarah House. At Yad Sarah House in Raanana, Roni Fattal is building a beautiful menorah of aqua and gold and YS volunteer and retired judge Meir Shenhav is lovingly creating toys for children. And, as usual, Yitzchak Yansovich is recording it all for posterity with his camera. The spirit of Yad Sarah and the spirit of Hanukah can be felt everywhere. At Israel's World of Giving, preparations are underway to receive the many visitors expected over the holidays. Visitors who will be treated to a moving and emotional interactive experience that will introduce them to the many wonders of Yad Sarah.

Our Young People Also Give Back
