Yad Sarah Reaches Out to Help Muquadam
Meet Muquadam, a two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Tanzania. He came to Israel under the auspices of Save a Child’s Heart (SACH), an NGO that arranges vital operations for children from developing countries in need of cardiac surgery. Traditional treats, a sense of community, and guest of honor Mayor Haim Bibas were all part of the Mimouna celebration held at the home of the director of Yad Sarah House in Modi'in, Eli Rosenberg

The celebration of the Mimouna in our home took place this year, thanks to my wife, Sima. The Mimouna is part of a series of volunteer activities for the community at Yad Sarah House in Modi'in. It means opening our hearts to every person who comes to Yad Sarah for help. We were honored by the presence of Mayor Haim Bibas, his deputy Brig. Gen. (res.) Shlomo Pasi and his wife, as well as former Modi'in mayor, Moshe Spector. In addition, there were many volunteers from Yad Sarah present as well as members of the city council and volunteers from other organizations. Our Young People Also Give Back
